After months of anticipation the William C. O’Neill Bike Path will have a couple new miles of fresh pavement for cyclists, runners and walkers to enjoy. This new extension will link the existing stretch of pavement between Larkin Pond Road and Ministerial Road to Route 138, adding approximately 2 miles to the existing 7.8 miles of path. It will also add a direct link to Kingston between Peace Dale, Wakefield and Narragansett, allowing users to access the locations by foot or pedal on nearly 7 miles of car-free infrastructure.
Break out that winter gear, we’re road riding this Saturday!
By request, long ride headed out to Dawley Park Road and back; clocking in at about 36 miles. Shorter route bypasses the climb up Hillsdale, coming in at about 27 miles. Come join the best 2 hours of the week!
