This week, come join us for another gravel ride in Arcadia. Gravel bikes, cyclocross bikes, or lighter hardtail mountain bikes are your rides of choice for this one. There will be a combination of paved and dirt roads. Maybe a smooth trail or two. 🙂
We will meet at the Browning Mill Pond Lower Parking lot in Arcadia Mgmt area, Richmond. ( Search H847+CX Richmond, Rhode Island on Google Maps). 19 miles planned (if taking the long option; shorter, less aggressive option is about 16 miles). The ride will likely take about 2 hours. Here is the longer route (shorter route stays straight southwest on Plain Road): https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31972328
Wheels roll at 830. Helmets and 200 square inches of blaze orange required , as it is hunting season.
Looking good and chilly in the morning. We are going to run another virtual shop ride this Saturday. Sean has created a Zwift meetup for 830 a.m. Scheduled for 60 minutes. If you would like to join this ride, drop us a comment on the Facebook post. Make sure you are following this guy on Zwift to receive an invite.
The ride is set up as “keep together”. So long as you keep pedaling you will stay with the group.
For this one, helmets optional, fan recommended. 😉
This Saturday’s fun will be a local trail ride beginning from the shop at 830 a.m. We will be venturing up the bike path and through some of the easy trails that border it. All levels welcome! Planning to ride for about 90 minutes or so. Mountain / fat tire bikes, gravel bikes, are your vehicles of choice. Will be travelling easy trails, but there is still the occasional root or two.
Saturday rides roll each week (weather permitting) at 830 a.m in the fall/winter. Helmets required. Bring water, tubes, pump, etc.
