Copenhagen Wheel e-bike technology_0

Fresh on the Floor: Superpedestrian Copenhagen Wheel

Our first delivery of electric Copenhagen Wheels arrived the other day.

We wasted no time mounting one of the motorized wheels up to a Specialized Alibi rental bike; after about 5 minutes we had finished the installation and our new ‘e-Alibi’ was ready to ride. An app download and bluetooth connection later, the Copenhagen Wheel swiftly but smoothly accelerated down the road. Needless to say, grins ensued. The wheel even has a cool trick up its sleeve: pedal backwards and it will engage engine braking. Try it and we guarantee you’ll smile too.
