Our Full Moon Fat Bike Beach Ride series continues, and this month we’re going to Matunuck. We’ve partnered up with the Ocean Mist to serve as the ride’s home base and will explore parts of Moonstone and East Matunuck Beaches, as well as a quick spin through Jerusalem.
Join us Monday Nov. 14th at 630pm under the Super Moon for this month’s ride. Total distance will be around 8 miles and will take approximately an hour or so. Once we return to the Ocean Mist post-ride there will be food and drink specials, as well as their legendary Monday night bingo.
Don’t have a fat bike? We have limited demos available on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are required as these rides fill up fast and we regularly have waiting lists. Please note that we reserve the right to pritotize those who have not participated in the FMBR before.
Big thanks to Light & Motion for sponsoring this series- lights available upon request.

Feeling fast? Join us Thursday night at 615pm for the Hour of Power. This ride places an emphasis on training, bike handling, teamwork and riding in a paceline. But be warned: this is a ride for experienced riders only. Speeds on the flats will be 25-30mph at times and the end-of-ride average will be greater than 20mph.
Tonight’s ride will feature a warm up pace as we head towards URI but things will quickly pick up once on North Road. It will be full speed ahead on Slocum, through the turf fields and Lafayette until we hit Hatchery- the route’s only real climb of the night. From there we’ll cruise downhill back to the shop via Stony Fort and Broad Rock.
Tonight’s route can be found here:
