The first annual South County Bike Day is tomorrow at the YMCA on Broad Rock Road! From 10am-2pm, we’ll be offering test rides, minor adjustments, helmet fittings, safety tips and more. Don’t forget about the Bicycle Recycle, allowing those in need a chance to pick up a donated pre-owned bicycle free of charge. Family bike rides, cyclocross demos, and helmet raffles are just a few of the day’s activities.

Next Tuesday 4/17 we will host the season’s first women’s ride and skills clinic! These rides will leave the shop Tuesday evenings at 530pm and will last approximately two hours, continuing through the summer. Our goal is to help women become comfortable, confident and efficient cyclists while establishing a women’s cycling community in South County. We will aim for a 15-18mph pace over several routes throughout South Kingstown, West Kingston, North Kingstown and Narragansett. RSVP is not needed, simply show up on the shop sidewalk with your bike, flat repair kit, weather appropriate clothing and water.
To be put on the weekly email list, contact Jay at firstname.lastname@example.org or Clara at email@example.com.
