Fall is here and it’s the best time of year to grab your mountain bike and hit the woods.
But wait- before heading out don’t forget that we share the local management areas (including Burlingame, Big River, Arcadia & more) with other users, especially hunters. From September 9 2017 through February 28th 2018 and April 21st though May 31 2018 all cyclists must wear at least 200sq inches of florescent orange; that number increases to 500sq inches during the month of December.
Helmet covers and our new Stedman Orange arm warmers are great examples of 200sq inches.
Helmet covers + vests and/or our new Stedman Orange short & long sleeve jerseys satisfy the 500sq inch requirement.
This is one of our favorite seasons- let’s all enjoy it together by being safe and being seen in Stedman Orange.

Feeling fast? Join us Thursday nights at the shop @ 615pm for the Stedman’s Hour of Power (sHOP) Ride.
This fast-paced road ride places an emphasis on training, bike handling, teamwork and riding in a paceline. But be warned: this is a ride for experienced riders only. Speeds on the flats are often 25-30mph and the end-of-ride average will be greater than 20mph.

2017 saw the end of a nearly 40+ year South County tradition in the way of the Monday night Route 1/Stedman’s Time Trial. Join us Monday August 21st at the shop to celebrate one last time and hang with the gang for refreshments and stories. Party starts at 630pm, hope you can join us!
