Guided Fat Bike Tours Every Full Moon

Join us every month this winter to ride under the full moon and explore our favorite local trails and beaches by fat bike!

Upcoming Ride Details
Date & Time: Thursday March 1st @ 6am (yes…6AM)
Starting Location: Stedman’s Bike Shop
196 Main Street, Wakefield RI
Ride Distance/Time: Approximately 7 miles, 1-1.5 hours
Terrain: Mix of pavement, dirt & sand
Cost: Free with donation of warm clothes and/or non-perishable food items

This year we’ll be exploring South County’s trails and beaches- including Narragansett, Moonstone & East Matunuck- as well as hooking up with local businesses for ride HQ. Just like in past years these rides will roll at a social pace and typically take approx. 1.5 hours.

To top it all off these rides are free and all are welcome to join. Over the years riders have donated thousands of pounds of non-perishable food and countless warm clothes to local charities. Help us help others by participating in this great event.

Big thanks to Light & Motion for sponsoring this series- lights available upon request.

Don’t have a fat bike? We have limited demos available on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are required as these rides fill up fast and regularly have waiting lists. We reserve the right to prioritize first-time participants for demo bikes over those who have ridden previously.

Stedman’s x Whaler’s Local Trail Night: Conditions Update

Thinking of joining us Wednesday evening for Local Trail Night?

Please note that due to our recent snowfall trail conditions have changed dramatically over the past 48 hours- if you’re planning to join this evening’s ride from Whaler’s please be aware that mountain bikes are NOT recommended. Trust us on this one, fat bikes & plus bikes with tire widths of 3-5” will make the experience much more enjoyable.

For complete ride details, head over to our event page using this link.

Ride leaves the brewery at 7pm…see you at the bar!
